Although common belief states that all little girls dream of huge, fairy tale weddings, once the big day arrives, some prefer small, intimate affairs for a variety of reasons. Budget may be a factor; stress is another or perhaps you simply do not want to wait while a large affair is planned and executed.

Elopement doesn't have to mean going to City Hall and standing before a judge who performs a ceremony with no beauty or warmth.

I can help you plan a day to remember. Together we choose a venue (here in South Florida the choices are abundant, i.e. beaches, parks, lakes, boats, restaurants, your home, etc.), your vows (either chosen from existing vows that I provide, your own, or a combination of the two), the type of ceremony (Rose, Unity Candle or Sand) you prefer and perhaps a bottle of champagne to toast the happy couple. Music and flowers complete the romantic atmosphere.

In my capacity as Officiant, I will perform your ceremony, your way. My only goal is to make your wedding day distinguished and memorable. It is my pleasure to assist in any or all facets of the preparation.

Very little notice is required for an elopement. It can be as simple as reciting vows and being pronounced man and wife or a bit more ceremonial, but still simple. Florida residents will have a three-day waiting period after applying for a marriage license, but out of state parties have no waiting period. I will be happy to handle the details, provide what is necessary for the selected ceremony, and bring it to fruition.
